On the other hand, I agree with Kaus & Ross Douthat on the *tone* of this bit: it's a total mystery to me why anybody thinks it's too angry.

Heck I am an agent of change. I changed clothes just this morning. I will change dryer sheets after every load. I am changing all of the time as my body ages and bodily processes slow down or speed up. I am all about change.
