Please don't take offense, but my initial reaction is to chafe at the use of the term "Evangelical Catholicism". (FWIW, I'm a convert from an Evangelical background.) It's as if Catholicism isn't enough--isn't the fullness of the truth capable of producing saints and symphonic doctrine. Catholicism is, as Chesterton said, the trysting place of all truth--where all truths are completed, balanced, and at home. And it seems to me that that fact is undermined when we start placing modifiers in front of Catholicism.
