If Norman Podhoretz Had Written the Declaration

A thoroughly entertaining neoconservative-themed rewrite of the Declaration of Independence, which, in the judgment of this reader, like all successful humour distills the truth and enables us to laugh at it. My one qualification would be that, apropos of the actual conduct of American foreign policy in certain regions, the abstract nouns 'freedom' and 'democracy' ought to be ironized with quotation marks.
