This is Craig Ferguson, by the way - somebody I'd never heard of before Jonah Goldberg linked to this same video on The Corner this morning.
It would be easy to dismiss this as just a joke - but I think it's more than that. Mr. Ferguson is on to something very important, here.

I've been thinking the same thing as Ferguson for years, but not as funny.
So many of our problems come from adults who constantly worry about whether teenagers think they're cool.

If you haven't heard of Craig Ferguson, you're missing out. He's the best interviewer in the business--as far as I know, he's the only one comfortable enough with his personality that he feels he doesn't need cue-cards to conduct interviews. Moreover, his monologues are often like the one you've seen above, though I should note that that was a particularly good one. He's also a theist (and perhaps even a Christian theist), for what that's worth.
